Recently, we covered everything that interested attendees can expect to see and hear at
ProMat 2019, the largest expo for manufacturing and supply chains in North America. Now,
we want to help you make the most of the ProMat experience.
With more than 900 exhibitors, 100 seminars, keynote speakers, and the latest technologies,
the whole experience can get overwhelming. Because unless you can teleport or be in two
places at once, you won’t be able to do it ALL.
That’s why it’s so helpful to invest a few minutes thinking about where you’ll find the most
value – and how you can hit the areas that will most benefit your business.
Here are some tips to get started:
GET THE APPYup, there’s an app for that. The ProMat 2019 Mobile App (for iPhone/iPod/iPad and Android)
lets you quickly view exhibitor information, schedules, conference session, and speaker
information. There’s even a full map of the show floor. So, study it before you arrive or use it
once you're there to find the best route to your favorite sessions. It’ll save your time and your
HAVE A PLANUsing the app or the website, you’ll find information on all the speakers, sessions, and
featured products. Again, there’s more here than most anyone could see in just a few days.
We’ve found it’s best to choose sessions and booth visits based on your goals and plans for
the year – so you can avoid wasting time on ones that won’t. Prioritize the most valuable
booths and sessions first, and plan to hit extras if you have time. (You can also map out a
plan with your team and split up, then report back to each other.)
GET SOCIAL IN THE HUBIf you want to share your ProMat experience with your social media audience or follow others,
The Hub is the place to be. The Hub is an interactive resource center located in Booth S2651
of the South Hall floor.
It’s a social networking lounge where attendees can catch the latest social media buzz about
the event and take advantage of wireless internet to check email and network with other
You can stay up-to-date with the latest happenings by following @ProMatShow on Twitter and
keep others up to speed on your activities by adding the hashtag #ProMat2019 to your
tweets. This is a great way to see where others in your industry are finding value within the
NETWORKEven if you’re not online, you can always connect with people the old-fashioned way, face to
face. In fact, we recommend it – it’s the best way to build lasting relationships.
Don’t just connect with exhibitors and speakers; be sure to connect with other attendees, too.
You never know when a new connection might move your business to the next level. And
what better place to make those connections than at an event filled with like-minded people?
By having a plan, getting social, and aligning your show plans with your business goals, you
can make sure the trip to Chicago for the ProMat trade show will pay dividends for years to
