850 companies. Six solutions centers. Two exhibit halls.

MODEX is the largest supply chain expo in North and South America.

And there’s never enough time to see it all.

So if you want every possible tool and advantage to enjoy a stress free and successful visit, here’s what you need to know:

Step 1: Download the MODEX app

MODEX 2018 app makes it easy to navigate each of the solutions centers using your cell phone or tablet. You can get it for free in the Android and Apple stores.
In the app, you’ll have an interactive map and exhibitor search, which can save your time -- and your feet.

Step 2: Create a plan

On the MODEX website, you’ll see information on every speaker, session, cost-cutting equipment, and featured product.

We’ve gotten the most mileage by selecting sessions and products that mesh with our goals and yearly plans. Of course, you’ll want to give priority to these booths and sessions.

(Bonus tip: If you’re interested in presentations whose times overlap, ask someone else on your team to attend/take notes on the second event; it’s as close as you can get to being in two places at once.)

You can even create a personalized agenda in the MODEX 2018 app. That way, you can catch the most important educational sessions and keynotes.

Step 3: Visit the “MODEX Network Lounge”

This free standalone social networking lounge is the best place to see what’s going on at the event. Because the Networking Lounge has free wifi and comfy seats, it’s a great space to catch up on email, update your company’s social media (#MODEXShow), and meet other attendees.

You’ll find the MODEX Networking Lounge in Hall B, Booth 3786, along the far wall.

Step 4: Connect with other people

You don’t need to be online to reach out to people. And that’s one of the biggest benefits of MODEX: You can meet face-to-face with other exhibitors and speakers, even connect with other attendees.

You never know where these relationships might take you, but chances are they’ll help you (and other people) grow their businesses and spot trends early.

Step 4: Save time and money on transportation

You can spend hours waiting for (and trying to find) a cab or your Uber/Lyft driver -- and then pay a small fortune to get to your hotel.

Or you can hack the system and get a free ride with less effort.

If you’re staying at a designated show hotel, call or google your hotel’s bus schedule to and from the Georgia World Congress Center. (Hotel shuttles generally operate between 7:30am-11:00am and 3:00pm-6:00pm.)

Now it’s your turn:

With these tools and plans, you’ll have everything you need for a great, productive trip to MODEX -- and new contacts and knowledge for an exciting 2018.
